A little late, but I finally watched the film version of Train Man. I had seen the TV drama years ago, but this was my first time seeing the movie.
To put it simply, I thought it was very good. The sincerity of the romance was warming. It reminded me that it is easy to decorate yourself on the surface, but what really matters is how you feel about the other person. Maybe it is also because I have gotten older recently, but I have become much easier to move to tears.
My favorite part is the line near the end where the heroine talks about how an ordinary email or even something as simple as sugar stops being "just" an ordinary thing when it comes from someone important. The idea that small everyday moments can turn into large, lasting memories when two people share them stayed with me.
